Good Luck John

John Farerell will be the new Manager for the Toronto Blue Jays.  I’m very happy for him.  I liked John while he was here, but I’m sure most coaches try so hard because some day they want to Manage a team.  Well John succeeded.  That says a lot for the Sox.  He did good! And now he is off on his own.

Sorry John, I like you, but we are still going to kick your butt!John Farrell will be toting a new jersey around MLB stops next season as Blue Jays manager.

Now what about a replacement? Rumors are flying that our Captain might be retiring? Well, what better pitching coach than a former catcher? Especially one that knows the pitchers.

I just love this Photo!

World Series Starts Tonight!!

I am leaning toward San Francisco, Javi Lopez is pitching for them……..but of course I want Cliff Lee to win ( I would also like to see the Sox get him, but they probably won’t)

So I really don’t care which team wins, I am just really happy that it is the Giants and the Rangers playing!! (if it can’t be the Red Sox)

If your not going to win, at least have some fun

Nick Green Pitching. Who would have guessed? Not me.

Catcher Jason Varitek had a little fun during Thursday's annual Red Sox team photograph.

Great photo of Tek, having some fun.

Before a May 6 game against the Cleveland Indians, Remy's play-by-play partner, Don Orsillo, announced Remy would take a leave of absence for an indefinite period to recover from cancer surgery . Remy missed six games to that point in the season and was forced to miss most of spring training when he developed an infection that led to pneumonia. 'I want to focus on completing my recovery so that I can return to work without distractions or disruptions,' Remy said in a statement. 'I hope that disclosing my bout with cancer will reinforce the dangers of smoking to every member of Red Sox Nation, especially children.'

So good to have Jerry back! It’s a pleasure to listen to the games now.

Okay, I am trying to avoid last nights game.  3 out of 4 is pretty damn good.

Tonight Blue Jays.

Not only are the Yankees coming to Boston this weekend, but Jerry Remy is coming back to  the booth!  Donnie O hasen’t sounded the same since Jerry took his medical leave.

I can’t tell you how awful I felt trying to watch a Red Sox Game with outhim.

This has to be a good omen, Welcome Back Jerry!

Big Papi loves playing against the Blue Jays!  He is just getting warmed up for the weekend back home when he gets to play against the Yankees.

The Team is looking real good, let’s keep it going.

No More Negative

What a game, Big Papi looked great. Bay, JD, Youk, no one was giving up! Okay it was an up and down game especially with Beckett, but we pulled it off!  And that was with no Tek and no Dustin (Congrats on that new Baby boy to you and Kelli)

Sox win wild one at Toronto

And of course Mike Lowell, looking pretty good for an old wounded ballplayer!'I want to know how the teams...

Tonight it’s Clay against Haladay

HEAD HUNTING: Mets' David...

I deliberaterly left this story of David Wright alone until I knew he was okay. David happens to be my favorite Met, and when I heard he had been hit in the head it made me sick to my stomach. From all that I have read it appears he is going to be fine. PV’s David

I miss Jerry!

Always one of my favorites, and we probably could have used him while Youk was out on suspension, Brian is now the Manager of the American Defenders of New Hampshire, Can-Am League.

 Brian Daubach

I’m just happy to see Brian is still involved with Baseball.

When they needed a Temp for Jerry Remy, I was hoping for Brian Daubach, but instead we got Dennis Eckersly.  I have to tell you the number of home games I’ve watched since Jerry got sick has gone way down.

Tonight Beckett against the Blue Jays.
